ShivaRam Wolfgang Thom works as a movement/yoga therapy teacher and an intuitive healer. Honoring his artistic background, he has devoted his life to reconnecting his students to the beauty and harmony, which lie within each one of us. ShivaRam’s unique teaching style begins with deep listening, which activates natural connection and leads to a completely customized treatment plan for each student. His work incorporates various Yogas with the Alexander Technique, Continuum Movement, Pilates-Core Alignment, Body Mind Centering and Trauma-as well as Trigger Point Therapy. In order to facilitate becoming aware of our true Self which manifests as body and mind, ShivaRam uses breathing and visualization techniques, as well as sound healing and intuitive touch. He helps his students to honor their physical bodies. By truly understanding the body as an energy antenna between earth and sky, we learn to harness the mind and identify with a space and silence beyond words. This peace and understanding are our birthright. ShivaRam is a certified 500 hr ISHTA yoga teacher. (ISHTA stands for Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra and Aryuveda and is a breath-based Yoga system, that incorporates alignment, meditation and healing bodywork). An active yogi since the early eighties, he met his first Advaita Vedanta teacher, Sri Mooji in India in 2010. Mooji’s clear and loving pointings opened the doors to Advaita (non-duality) and Vicara (self-inquiry). Teachings that confirm that all we need to do, is to relax into the peace and the silence which underlies everything alive. ShivaRam teaches classes and workshops in English, French and German internationally.
