An Introduction to Accelerated Resolution Therapy

with Laney Rosenzweig LMFT

and Amy Shuman, LICSW, DCSW

Accelerated Resolution Therapy also known as ART, can bring rapid recovery from trauma and other mental health problems to adults and children. ART is a new, innovative therapy utilizing REM (rapid eye movements) to eliminate negative images and replace them with positive ones. ART is a drug-free therapy that can accomplish emotional healing in just one to five sessions which in other therapies might take months or years. ART enables clients to experience a rapid recovery from numerous difficulties such as PTSD, anxiety, OCD, addictions and more.

In this class, you will see a video of an actual ART session and learn about the way ART works, as well as find out about opportunities for treatment and practitioner training.

Laney Rosenzweig is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over twenty five years of experience in the mental health field. Ms. Rosenzweig founded and developed a mental health therapy known as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Much of Ms. Rosenzweig’s time today is spent on training mental health clinicians in ART. She is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida.

A recent study focused on utilizing ART with combat veterans who have previously served in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the results have been published in the journal of Military Medicine.
