A humanistic fine artist and psychoanalytic art therapist, Dahlia uses warmth, kindness, humor, and inquiring analysis to help you creatively take ownership of your dreams/challenges, and help you design an action blueprint for everyday life.
Her undergraduate study in sculpture and art education was completed at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She obtained her master’s degree from New York University in psychoanalytic art therapy. Although she has worked with a large variety of populations - including children, adults, within hospital settings, and community settings, most extensively she has been working creatively with adults in addiction recovery settings. She assists them in discovering their expressive language, as well as retraining thinking and habits.
