Ami Jayaprada Hirschstein, AHC, C-IAYT, is a certified Ayurveda Health Counselor and Yoga Therapist who is finishing her Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner Training. Ami has been practicing the healing arts since 1995. Her approach is holistic, combing the “Sister Sciences” of Ayurveda with Therapeutic Yoga. Ami did her Ayurvedic training at Kripalu School of Ayurveda. She studied Marma Therapy at The Ayurvedic Institute with Dr. Lad. Ami is currently in her final year of an Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner Training with Dr. Sehgal. Ami founded and directed Jai Ma Yoga Center from 1999-2015 and YogAlive from 2015-2017. She has been training yoga teachers for over 18 years. Ami has received teaching certifications in Anusara Yoga, Kripalu Yoga and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. She teaches Ayurvedic workshops and sees private clients throughout the Hudson Valley. In her yoga classes Ami pioneered Yoga Therapy in the Mid-Hudson Valley and has trained many teachers in these methods.
