People’s Place Wellness Empowerment Center

Join Herbalist Ashley Sapir Lathrop to learn about the two methods for herbal tea preparation.
What exactly is herbal tea and how is it made? Depending on which parts of the plant are used, boiling water is either poured over plant material or plant material is simmered in boiling water.
Together we will blend and taste delicious and effective herbal teas, while learning a variety of recipes for different situations.
Learn about teas to build immunity, aid digestion, calm the body and mind.
Everybody will leave with some tea to make at home.
Ashley Sapir Lathrop is grateful to live, forage and grow herbs in the Hudson Valley, beneath the Shawangunk Mountains. She is rooted in traditional medicine practices that connect people to plants.
