CFD Death Cafes are gatherings of people, often strangers, where we eat cake, drink tea or coffee, and confidentially have a conversation that breaks the taboo of talking about dying and death. A Death Café is a group-directed conversation with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.

People leave feeling “connected,” uplifted,” fulfilled.” thankful,” and “informed.”

Circle of Friends has delivered 150 CFD Death Cafes across the county and on Zoom.
