Soil to Soul presents Farm Tour of Seed Song Farm with Creek Iversen, Founding Director; Eric Murphy, Farm Co-Manager; and Jasmine Wood, Farm-Based Education Director
Come meet the farmers and walk the land where so much has taken place over the past 8 years! With a wide variety of activities, this space has been a hub for connecting people to the land and fostering education for all ages through fun and engaging experiences.
Seed Song Farm is a 215-acres leasehold of prime agricultural fields, wetlands, and mature woods in partnership with the Seed Song Center and Esopus Agricultural Center. More info here: https://www.seedsongfarm.org/about1.html
Seed Song Farm produces sustainably-grown vegetables, herbs, berries, flowers, and forest products, available through CSA shares (weekly pickup of fresh produce at the farm), local farmers' markets, and on-site farmstand, and charitable donations.
Seed Song Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides educational and cultural experiences of sustainable agriculture and agroecology. We offer all people access to quality food, shared meals, and farm-based arts and education experiences.
Together, the Farm and Centers build “Beloved Regeneration”. Re-kindling reverence for the land through healthy food and farm experiences for all.
