Growing superfoods at home!
In this 2 hour workshop, we review the lifecycle of microgreens and culinary fungi, and the easiest ways to cultivate them at home in a small space footprint.
We review the practical steps needed to set up personal or family sized production of these crops at home, and how to automate key steps of the process. We also look at home to upcycle organic materials into your home grow, particularly growing mushrooms.
Students will make their own microgreen and mushroom grow kits to take home and kick off their growth :)
