Workshop will begin promptly at 11am at the Slingerland Pavilion (Registrants are welcome and encouraged to arrive as early as 10:30am to make their way to the pavilion and settle in.)

Note: This event is ADA accessible :) Come see the gorgeous views of the Catskills while surrounded by the greenery of land and forest.

Earth Kinship is our innate ability to listen to and be in direct relationship with the more-than-human world. In this introductory workshop, you’ll be guided through meditations, imaginative prompts, plant interactions, sauntering the Land, reflection, and sharing to recover and feed the living memory of kinship with Earth that lives in each of your cells. You will leave with simple techniques to be with the Nature that surrounds you in a more relational way.

Miki Aso is co-creator of We Are All Kin, co-facilitator at Plant Pioneers, student of more-than-human teachers, artist, and animist. She is a graduate of the Cultivating Cognitive Agility with Plant, Tree and Nature Allies training program and apprentice to program developer Marguerite Uhlmann-Bower. She focuses her energy on listening to the voices of people who live in relationship with Earth, the voices of other species, and the voice of Mother Earth herself, so that we regard them as relative rather than resource, to change our minds and our shared futures. See weareallkin.earth for more info, workshops, and events.

Marguerite Uhlmann-Bower is mother and lover of Plants, Earth, Nature. Co-founder of Plant Pioneers, a human-Plant relations collective and as clinical Herbalist and EarthSchool's educator with permission, she speaks for and is guided by the voice of Nature. For 35 years she’s been a radical wild forager, Plant medicine maker, Plant intelligence researcher, writer and program developer for their primary program, 'Cultivating Cognitive Agility with Plant, Tree and Nature Allies’, founded in 2017. She reflects, “as we recover and deepen our abilities to language with Nature, we Naturally remember, we are born relatives of this place, Earth”. See www.PlantPioneers.org for more info on classes.
