The KIVA (behind Marbletown Multi-Arts)
3588 Main Street
Stone Ridge, NY 12484

The training includes instruction, discussion, guided practice, and traditional Reiki attunements. Participants will learn basic hand positions, how to work with intention and presence, and how to incorporate Reiki into daily life as a grounding and supportive practice. Time is included for questions and experiential learning.
This training is well suited for people who are new to Reiki, as well as those who are curious about energy work, self-healing, or complementary wellness practices. No prior experience is required. Reiki 1 focuses primarily on self-treatment and introductory hands-on practice rather than professional certification.
Participants should be able to sit comfortably for periods of time and engage in light, non-strenuous hands-on practice. The session is experiential but gentle; no special physical ability is required.
What to Bring
Please feel free to bring a yoga mat, pillow, or blanket if you feel it will help you be more comfortable throughout this five hour training. Upright chairs will be provided. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
