Come join an educational tour of Clove Valley Community Farm, with farmer Aileah Kvashay!
Clove Valley is a permaculture-inspired and community-powered farm in the 17th year of development. It is a productive market garden, nursery and a center for education, arts, and healing. Come see how the once swampy clay land has been transformed into gorgeous and abundant permanent raised beds. Tour the gardens and greenhouses and get the farmer's perspective on the land with a chance to have your questions answered. The methods used at Clove Valley are extremely applicable to home-gardening, so you are likely to go home with some ideas for your backyard. You are welcome to stay for any part of their weekly 4-7pm Thursday event: a work-party and farmstand open to all, with a community dinner to follow.
