Wander through the Y-Community gardens and adjoining land with herbalist and author Dina Falconi for a guided exploration of the Hudson Valley's edible and medicinal abundance. During this immersive two-hour walk, you will learn to safely identify, mindfully harvest, and creatively use wild plants in both culinary and wellness practices. Drawing from decades of clinical herbalism and ecological knowledge, Dina shares a deeply insightful look into the healing power of the natural world. Bring a notepad, camera and water bottle.


Open to participants ages 12 and up; however, the class is designed with an adult audience in mind.

About the Facilitator

Dina Falconi is a clinical herbalist with a strong focus on food activism and nutritional healing. An avid gardener, wildcrafter, and permaculturist, Dina has been teaching classes about the use of herbs for food, medicine, and personal care, including wild food foraging and cooking, for more than thirty years.
