Nyquist-Harcourt Wildlife Sanctuary
133 Huguenot St. New Paltz, NY
Join us beneath the turning leaves for an intimate reading and tea ceremony at the bird sanctuary in New Paltz. We will read aloud the famous nature essay by John Burroughs, which explores his decades-long immersion in nature study and observation, paired with a question of what teachings nature has offered him through his lifetime.
Herbal tea will be served, and birdsong will be appreciated, acknowledged, and in support of our reading.
Bring something to sit on, and a favorite mug to drink tea from.
All are welcome!
