Amy Tripi

Like so many others who are drawn to the practice of energy healing, Amy’s journey began when she was going through a major life crisis, and her dear friend, who is also Reiki master, offered a session.  Amy accepted, feeling like it couldn’t hurt, and might help, so why not?  An hour later her life had changed.

At the time she had no explanation for what had happened – she had no frame of reference.  But in the days and months that followed, the universe opened up to her…or more correctly, she to it.  One hour of Reiki and a shamanic experience allowed her to shift in the most unexpected, beautiful and profound ways.  She never could have imagined.

Over the next year her awareness grew – her awareness of self, the natural world, and alternate realities.  She stopped believing in coincidences, and trusted the myriad divine synchronicities occurring all around her.  “Life was amazing!”

As her heart and consciousness opened, so did her connection to the healing power of Reiki energy and shamanic experiences.  She was challenged to question her life… to deeply contemplate the fundraising business she had taken more than twenty years to build, and the comfortable life she was living.  “My choice was less of a decision, and more of a knowing – that energy healing was my path.”

The first several years of her studies led her to become a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner.  She was later guided to deepen her practice and became a certified Cranio Sacral Therapist.  She later immersed herself in the mystical healing practices of Peru and is a Mesayok medicine carrier of the Peruvian bundled mesa tradition.  She is also a Universal Life Minister and incorporates many other healing modalities in her practice, including Healing Presence, crystals, aromatherapy, and animal medicines.  She is currently a student of Eden Energy Medicine.

She considers herself a facilitator to her clients’ healing.  She says “we all have the innate power to heal ourselves… and just like my dear friend did for me years ago, I help my clients bridge that gap.”

In addition to volunteering as both a practitioner and board member of the Holistic Health Community, Amy has a private healing practice in New Paltz, NY.

Amy graduated from Wittenberg University with a BA in Sociology and Philosophy, and served as a volunteer in the United States Peace Corps in Honduras.  When she’s not practicing energy healing, she’s blessed to head a direct response marketing agency that she founded nearly 20 years ago to help non-profits raise money for myriad causes close to her heart, including international blindness and malnutrition prevention, LGBT advocacy and services, mental health services, international human rights, reproductive health advocacy, among others.
