Psychotherapy / Art Therapy
Psychotherapy is a way to help clients with a broad spectrum of mental illnesses and/ or emotional difficulties. Psychotherapy can help eliminate or manage the difficulties concerning the client and assist them with managing their life. The goal is to allow the client to live a better life and increase well-being and healing. Problems helped by psychotherapy include difficulties in coping with daily life; the impact of trauma, medical illness or loss, like the death of a loved one; and specific mental disorders, like depression or anxiety to name a few.
Art Therapy combines art and therapy and is used as a therapy to unveil deep-rooted issues that may not be readily available during a talk therapy session. The art materials used are not intended as materials to make art but rather as materials used to express the emotional self within.
